Revised Torsion Spring Retaining Clip

In its ongoing product development efforts, Decoustics, a leader in custom acoustical wall and ceiling products announces its new and improved torsion spring retaining clip.
Integral to the Ceilencio suspension system, the new torsion spring retaining clip features many innovations. The new clip is similar in dimension to its predecessor yet is easier to install as the torsion spring retaining ring does not require any additional closing operations. Standard torsion springs install on the retaining clip from the underside, the clip is then located on an aluminum panel edge and installed on the edge with a pair of channel lock pliers. The major advantage of the new torsion spring retaining ring is that once the clip is installed the torsion spring cannot detach from the panel edge. Increased security, significantly reduced installation times, with the added advantage of greatly increased clip strength and load carrying capability.
